Annamoe allotments, Annamoe, Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. This deer and rabbit fenced allotment site is on the banks of the Avonmore River in the valley of Annamoe. About 4miles from one of Irelands top tourist attractions, Glendalough, which translates as “Glen of the two Lakes” Address: Annamoe allotments Annamoe , Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Directions: On the road from Roundwood to Glendalough (2 miles from Roundwood)ALL ABOVE INFO TAKEN FROM THE WEBSITE

Paul: Purchase Sheet16, 1/2inch scale Ordnance Survey from the map-shop in Aungier Street, Dublin. (The shop is on the left side as you go out from Georges Street.) Find Roundwood and the road to Glendalough on the map. Measure one inch along the road with a dividers and mark the spot. Double check that Glendalough is a further two inches along that road. Trace the Annamoe river (it's a blue line on the map) Now go by car to the area with map in hand and look for a field with a deer fence beside the river and close to the spot you marked before setting out. If the photo above is to be trusted you should be able to see the Glendalough tower in the distance and the mountain behind it. Let me know how you get on.
