The day includes a petting farm, children's games, scarecrow competition, plant sales and various craft stalls. Entrance is Free. Eden Allotment Gardens is the largest allotment site in Ireland with 189 plots and were established in April 2008. Eden allotments are provided and administered by Carrickfergus Borough Council.
