Course - Nature-Friendly Gardening and Growing for the Kitchen.
Nature-Friendly Gardening and Growing for the Kitchen is the name of a one Day course which is being held on 8th August 2009. It takes place on a smallholding near Kiltegan in West Wicklow, 75 minutes from Dublin city centre.
The day is aimed at new and existing gardeners and will include creating and maintaining a nature-friendly environment in your garden, raising home-grown herbs, vegetables and fruit and keeping hens. Individuals, families and small groups welcome. However places are limited.
For availability contact Mo Osman or Emma Nelson Tel: 087 2199126
The cost of the day is €40 and includes a lunch of asian flavour, cooked by Mo Osman who will also run the course. He has been establishing a small holding for the last number of years, with a productive greenhouse, polytunnel and kitchen garden, on several acres and is involved with the weekly Country Market in Tullow.
In association with Mo Osman and Emma Nelson we at allotments.ie have one pass for the course and lunch to give away to a lucky reader.
