Located on a farm just three miles from County Meath near Loughcrew Cairns and Forest, is the Grow Your Own allotments site.
Established by a young farmer Karl Hennessy the allotments are aimed at those of you who long to escape to a unpolluted, peaceful, rural environment.
Here you can get to know your allotment neighbours, exchange views and advice, swap seeds, cuttings and produce, all in this area of great natural beauty.

Directions:
From Kells: Follow Cavan Road (N3) to top of town, and turn Left in front of “Supervalue’’ shop.
Turn Right after 300 yards (Oldcastle Road). Continue on this road for about 15 mile’s, keep to the main road all the time until you reach Millbrook Factory take the left and then the right at the next Y junction.
Follow this road until you pass Katsy Browne’s on the right and take a left turn immediately after this shop. Straight through the next crossroads and the Farm is just after the 4th house on the right hand side.
The grey sheds can be seen from the road.
From Castlepollard: Drive out Church Street past the National and VEC schools and stay on this road.
There are a few sharp turns and one sharp Y junction turn where the left fork should be taken but basically stay on the same road until pass the forest on your left and the farm grey sheds will be on the left.
From Oldcastle: Take the Castlepollard road past Millbrook to the first Y junction where a right turn off the main road should be taken. Follow this road until you pass Katsy Browne’s on the right and take a left turn immediately after this shop.
Straight through the next crossroads and the Farm is just after the 4th house on the right hand side. The grey sheds can be seen from the road.
